Choose one thing to emphasize
Start with your role, a short phrase, or a single line that feels like you. Style that one part and leave the rest in regular text. A bio is easier to scan when it has one clear focal point.
Separate display names from handles
A display name often allows more characters than an account handle. A styled name does not make a matching username available. Keep the searchable name recognizable, and check the rules in the actual field you plan to edit.
Test the complete sentence
A style that looks good on three letters may look crowded in a full sentence. Use the context preview, then check wrapping on your phone. Count the generated result: combining marks and some Unicode symbols use more than one code unit in certain apps.
Use symbols as punctuation
A single star or arrow can separate ideas without making the whole line decorative. Use the symbol picker for the finishing touch. Keep a plain-text version of your bio so you can quickly return to it.
